Voyage à Montréal et à une Cabane à sucre!

Au Canada, printemps rime avec sirop d’érable. La cabane à sucre est une expérience authentique canadienne-française à ne pas manquer. En avril 2025, ACAF y sera!

Vivez l’expérience immersive de parler français de manière continue avec des francophones et des apprenants de français motivés pendant 3 jours, du 4 au 6 avril.

Vous voulez devenir bilingue? Voici une occasion en or pour pratiquer le français, un élément incontornable du processus d’apprentissage du français. En même temps, vous allez décourir la plus grande ville francophone de l’Amérique du Nord et faire des nouvelles connaissances.

Pour le transport, vous avez 3 choix:

• en covoiturage avec un membre de l’ACAF (75$ de contribution, aller-retour)
• en train (212$, prix total incluant les taxes, aller-retour)
• en voiture personnelle (à vos frais)

Itinéraire:

Le vendredi le 4 avril

• 8h32 — Départ en train de la station Union de Toronto ou en voiture, le cas échéant
• 14h — Arrivée à Montréal, enregistrement à hôtel Lux (https://www.leluxhotel.com/fr-ca)
• 17h à 19h — Les 5 à 7 Musicaux à la Place des arts, un concert gratuit mettant en vedette les musiciens de l’Université Concordia (https://placedesarts.com/fr/evenement/cinq-sept-jazz-place-des-arts)
• 20h – Souper à la Rôtisserie St-Hubert située dans le Complexe Desjardins (https://www.st-hubert.com/)

Le samedi le 5 avril

• 8h – 9h Petit-déjeuner à l’hôtel (inclus)
• 9h – 11h30 – Visite à pied du Quartier des spectacles avec un membre d’ACAF comme guide ou cours de français en ligne avec Charles
• 11h30 — Dîner dans le coin du restaurant
• 13h – Visite guidée en français du Château Dufresne, une maison luxueuse d’époque dans l’est de Montréal (https://chateaudufresne.com/) — entrée incluse dans le prix ACAF
• 14h30-16h – Visite des installations du Parc Olympique (l’extérieur du Stade Olympique; possibilité de visiter le Biodome, le Planetérium ou le Jardin Botanique, à déterminer par les participants)*
• 16h – 17h — Du temps libre — Suggestion de visiter la Place Ste-Marie

• 20h: Souper dans le Quartier Latin

Le dimanche 6 avril

• 9h: Petit-déjeuner à l’hôtel (inclus)
• 9h30 – 11h: Visite à pied de la rue Ste-Catherine, avec l’app https://www.montrealenhistoires.com/parcours/
• 11h30: Départ de l’hôtel
• 12h30 – 14h: Cabane à sucre Domaine Labranche à St-Isidore, à 30km de Montréal. Balade à traineau et visite des animaux de la ferme. Le transfert à St-Isidore sera assuré en cammionnete ou voiture par les membres d’ACAF (https://www.labranche.ca/cabane-a-sucre-2/). Entrée incluse dans le prix
• 14h : Retour à Montréal ou départ pour Toronto en voiture
• 16h38: Départ du train de Montréal
• 21h48: Arrivée du train à Toronto

Prix (taxes et service inclus) par personne:

Saturday, April 5th

• 9 – 11:30 am — Walking tour of the Quartier des spectacles with a member of ACAF as guide or online French class with Charles
• 11:30 – Lunch in the area of the hotel
• 1 pm – Guided tour in French of Château Dufresne, a luxurious period house in Montreal’s east end (https://chateaudufresne.com/) Entrance included in the trip price
• 2:30 -4 pm – Tour of the Olympic Park facilities (around the Olympic Stadium; possibility of visiting the Biodome, the Planeterium or the Botanical Garden, to be determined by the participants)*
• 4 – 5 pm – Free time — Suggestion – Visit of the Place Ville-Marie shopping centre. An activity to facilitate interaction with merchants will be provided.
• 5 – 6 pm: Optional – Cocktails and appetizers at 9e Île-de-France, a magnificent Art Deco venue (https://www.opentable.com/r/le-9e-restaurant-ile-de-france-montreal)
• 8 pm: Dinner at a restaurant in the Quartier Latin

• 2 p.m.: Return to Montreal or drive to Toronto
• 4:38 pm: Train departs from Montreal
• 9:48 pm: Train arrives in Toronto

Price (taxes and service included) per person:

• $271 – 2 night hotel (double occupancy), Château Dufresne, sugar shack and round-trip ACAF carpooling
